Project Management & Resource Planning
See how we utilize Monday.com to build a work operating system for a local-level political campaign.
Background
This was a scrappy local campaign operating with a small team and limited resources. Information was scattered across messages, documents, and individual inboxes, making it difficult for team members to quickly find what they needed or stay aligned on priorities.
Team members were juggling multiple responsibilities and often balancing competing demands. Without a centralized system, they had to rely on informal knowledge-sharing or spend time searching across tools and conversations to locate key information.
In a fast-moving campaign environment, even small inefficiencies added up quickly. Spending 15–20 minutes searching for information pulled attention away from higher-impact work and slowed coordination across the team. The campaign needed a centralized source of truth that would align priorities, reduce friction, and allow the team to focus on execution.
Objectives
Reduce operational friction so the team can focus on execution.
Improve team alignment around priorities and responsibilities.
Establish a single source of truth for campaign operations.
Key Results
Clear ownership assigned to 100% of active tasks and initiatives
All active campaign initiatives tracked in a centralized project system
Team members able to locate key information in under 2 minutes.
100% of core campaign resources (documents, timelines, and priorities) centralized in one shared workspace.
Improve internal response time for information requests by at least 50%.
